How can I pay for my items?

Our preferred methods of payment are Paypal and credit card, as direct debit and eCheque can take up to 4 days to clear, and goods can not be sent until payment has cleared.
All prices are in AUD, and include GST.

Are you an Australian company?

We sure are. We are based in Springwood, Queensland, and are 100% Australian owned and operated.

Who is Home and Outdoor?

Home and Outdoor Products is a family owned, Queensland based company. Like many online stores, we started as an ebay business a few years ago, then opened up four individual mini online stores, www.swimmingpoolliners.com.au , www.spapoolcovers.com.au , www.pondlinersaustralia.com.au and www.pooltoysaustralia.com.au

As of October 2013, the spa pool covers, pool liner and pond liner websites all funnel through www.homeandoutdoor.com.au

Pool Toys Australia still functions as a stand alone website, but the entire product range (from all sites) is available here on homeandoutdoor.com.au - our parent store. 

Our mission is to bring great quality, great value pond and swimming pool accessories and toys to Australian families. 


Why don't you have a phone number displayed on your site?

By running Home and Outdoor Products as an internet only business, we keep our prices as low as possible. Rather than paying someone to attend an office, we just check emails and messages throughout the day. If you really want to call, you can dial (07) 3149 3520. It will go to voicemail, but we will return your call as quickly as possible. (We promise). 

I'm new to online shopping - is it safe to buy on homeandoutdoor.com.au?

Yes, homeandoutdoorproducts.com.au is a safe website. When it comes time to process your order, you will notice you are redirected to a third party secure payment site, which is 128 bit SSL encrypted. The address bar will change to https/, and depending on your browser, may also feature a small yellow padlock icon on the bottom left corner of your screen. For added peace of mind, you can also verify the SSL certificate by right clicking on the icon in the browser.

If you are really not comfortable using your credit card online, and you don't have a Paypal account, you can also make payment via direct deposit.

If you'd rather deal with a person, you can send us a messageWe'll call you on the nominated number, and can arrange payment over the phone with you.

My order has arrived, but is damaged. What do I do?

If your order has been damaged in transit, please let us know straight away. Take some photos of both the item and the packaging, and email them, along with your name and order reference number to sales@homeandoutdoor.com.au 

We will get back to you within 24 hours (or the next business day).

I've changed my mind. Can I return it?

If you change your mind within 30 days, and the packaging has not been opened and is still in a saleable condition, then yes, you can return the item (at your own cost) for a full refund of the item purchase price.  All freight costs /shipping remain the buyers responsibility.

Delivery Costs

How much do you charge for freight? Delivery costs will vary depending on the size/weight of the item and the destination. We use Australia Post for small items and TNT and Riteways for larger parcels. When your order is being finalised, the system will calculate freight costs, and automatically select the most economical option for you.

You can get an estimate on your shipping costs at any time, by going to the shopping cart and entering your postcode. 

Failed Delivery

If an item is returned to us because a) You have supplied an incorrect or incomplete delivery address or b) You have not collected the item from the post office, Australia Post will charge us a return fee. They will also charge a re-delivery fee. These costs will be passed on to you.

If a failed delivery is our fault, we will absorb all related costs.

Overseas Shoppers

We only deliver within Australia, but you are welcome to place an order from overseas for delivery within Australia.  Perfect for overseas rellies wanting to buy gifts for their Australian families! Just use the recipients address (but with YOUR name) in the billing address, then in the notes section, write O/S BILLING followed by your actual address. From here just continue with your payment as normal - we will change the billing address at our end. We never send invoices, so you don't need to worry about them accidentally seeing any paperwork - they'll never know how much you spent!
